I booked this place for 10 guys on a bachelor/turkey trip and it was definitely worth it! The area was nice and private and the outdoor setting was beautiful! The interior was very clean and organized. It’s a very nice and cozy place. 10 guys fit just well into the place. Gene was a very wonderful host and was very responsive of any questions and even recommendations. Definitely would recommend to anyone going to take this place!

Our family enjoyed our stay at Country Roads. The house was as described/pictured & Gene was very responsive. We enjoyed both outdoor spaces. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The house was easy to find & located between Berkeley Springs & Cacapon State Park (beautiful park, quiet midweek and a destination for mountain bikers). Thanks for sharing your home with us!

This is a fabulous, peaceful getaway. The home is gorgeous with lots to do. The hot tub, sauna and games all worked perfectly. Sitting on the deck or near the fire, taking in the beautiful view, was so relaxing. We brought our three young boys and would recommend for families of any size or age!

we spent spring break at the country road cottage with our 3 small kids. our goal was to be able to unwind and truly relax and not having to worry about schedules, work and chaos. Gene's property did exactly what we wanted. The house is beautifully decorated, cleaned and well equipped with all the essentials to feel right at home. there are a lot to do at the house to keep our kids entertained and we had so much fun spending quality time together!

Nothing was needed. Kitchen was well stocked.
super thoughtful. robes provided and extra toothbrush, q-tips and cotton balls if needed.
